Bookings and appointments
-
No referral is required to book an appointment. However, some health insurance policies may require a referral for reimbursement — please check with your insurer.
-
Consultations are available in person and/or online (Zoom), depending on availability. Online sessions are suitable for most nutrition concerns.
-
Initial consultations are typically longer (60-90 minutes) to allow for a full assessment, with shorter follow-up appointments (15-30 minutes) to support progress and ongoing care.
-
This varies depending on your goals and health needs. Some clients benefit from a small number of sessions (2-3), while others prefer ongoing support over several months.
-
You may bring recent blood test results, medical information (including list of medications and/or supplements), or referral letters if available.
You will be required to complete an initial client form prior to your consultation.
Services and scope
-
Registered Nutritionists are trained to support health through nutrition for general health, disease prevention, and lifestyle-related conditions. Dietitians typically work in clinical settings and may provide medical nutrition therapy for complex medical conditions. If your needs fall outside of scope, appropriate referral will be recommended.
